Run by two certified professional coaches, Anke Fischer and Julia Close, Parents are People too was born out of our joint experience of helping parents feel human again. As our individual families grew older and we juggled family, work and ageing parents, we both really missed having a place to go when things got tough and family life felt so different from how we had imagined. Our vision is to make world class personal development coaching available to every parent. In our drop-in groups, workshops and 1:1 sessions you can find resources, new awareness and perspectives. Our approach is different as we put YOU at the centre. We won’t tell you what to do, how to think, how to behave and we absolutely will not judge you. However you choose to work with us there will be a space to share, to learn, to discover, to be supported and to feel you’re not alone. Our coach-led approach puts you at the centre – because it starts by you working out what you need to feel human again. By clearly understanding your thought process, identifying your true challenges, and discovering what’s getting in your way, you will understand how to best resolve your family issues. You will reconnect to who you are and what is important to you You will become confident in your communication and your role as a parent You will discover how to recharge during major family change You will create your own, unique parenting manual And you will reclaim your sense of worth
