Welcome to our Parfums Dusita universe. All our extraits and eaux de parfum are olfactory tributes to the poetry of Montri Umavijani (1941-2006), father of our founder/perfumer Pissara 'Ploi' Umavijani. Next to being a craftsman of words, Dr. Umavijani loved travelling around the world, motivated by his wish to communicate with people of different nationalities and backgrounds. To us, both poetry and perfume are ideal means of connecting with others; they stir the imagination, uplift the spirit, and appeal to the senses as well as the intellect. Further inspired by Montri Umavijani’s lifetime-long quest for the joy and peace of mind that the heavenly paradise ‘Dusita’ promises, our perfumes evoke realms of earthly happiness and sublimity. At Parfums Dusita, our passion for fine fragrance begins with our love of classic French perfumery. To that we bring our own knowledge of the fragrant oils, powders and resins of our Thai heritage: for centuries, every kind of traditional Siamese ceremony has been accompanied by the use of natural aromatic treasures like rose, jasmine, benzoin, beeswax, bergamot, sandalwood. Our internationally awarded and widely acclaimed fragrances are, furthermore, enriched with Mme Umavijani’s boldly creative, contemporary touches, making them both current and timeless; her unique signature can be detected in each and every Parfums Dusita creation.
