About Parnell Defense

Parnell Defense, PLLC is owned and directed by Schöen Parnell. Schöen has over 20+ years of experience as a criminal defense attorney in Washington State's Puget Sound region. After graduating law school he practiced with a public defense firm in Seattle where he quickly gained a reputation for fighting hard for his clients. Schöen eventually set off to start his own practice in 2002 where he has been ever since. He still fights hard for his clients and offers a direct and detailed approach many of his peers have recognized him for. Schöen demonstrates specialized talents in the areas of firearm rights or crimes involving firearm use in self-defense. Another area he has proven himself to be skilled in is drunk driving (DWI/DUI) defense. He has attended some of the same training classes police officers have to pass for conducting standardized field sobriety tests and is a member of several national associations advocating DUI defense. A combination of his experience, special training and a solid network of resources allow Schöen to prepare and execute strong defense strategies for his clients.
