Parr & Associates Ltd was established in 1994 as a privately owned company specializing in consulting on a range of business and development issues. Its main area of geographic focus is New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and eastern Indonesia (Bali, Lombok). It has had a diverse client base which has included subsidiaries to the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, New Zealand and Australia governments official oversease development assistance programs, Forum Secretariat, the South Pacific Regional Environmental Project (SPREP) as well as a number of Pacific island governments and private sector companies. Whilst specializing in private sector development, the company has also undertaken market assessments and feasibility studies across a wide range of sectors and has been the lead consultant for the design of a multi-sectoral regional development plan for one of New Zealands provinces.
