About Passages Connecting Fathers and Families
Founded in 2004, has been serving Cleveland's vulnerable families for over two decades. Our services empower families to improve their lives and successfully achieve family resiliency and financial independence – helping parents break cycles of generational poverty, early parenting, and incarceration for themselves and their children. Our Mission: to inspire individuals to thrive by stabilizing, supporting, and empowering individuals to be successful through parenthood enrichment and workforce development training, comprehensive case management, and access to resources to obtain employment and a healthy and resilient family life. Our Vision: A future where no child is without a nurturing, engaged and loving father and mother; and that each parent fully grasps that the most important thing they will ever accomplish in life is rearing a child who understands their relationship with the world and the fact that they have the ability to contribute in a positive way. Originally established as a program dedicated to the overlooked needs of low-income fathers, including non-custodial fathers and those incarcerated or in reentry, Passages has evolved to become the preeminent organization in Northeast Ohio serving ALL low-income parents addressing the socio-economic and family struggles they encounter.
