Pathfinder is a non-profit organization dedicated to building personal, social and environmental responsibility through the power of shared experience. We offer experiential educational programs that develop leadership, increase self-confidence, and enhance communication through trust and team-building activities. Participants work together to identify and achieve common goals. In the process, they gain new skills in problem-solving, resolving conflict, listening, observing, and working effectively in a group. Our programs are grounded in a tradition of experiential education. All programs are hands-on, interactive and really exciting. All programs incorporate the themes of developing character and community. Most programs take place outdoors, not only because it gets people outside and having fun, but because we have found this more effective in meeting our client's goals. Pathfinder facilitates programs for: Schools - public and private Colleges and universities Nonprofits Organizations providing services for youth and families Teachers and faculty groups Corporate communities Businesses and other non-academic professional communities benefit from Pathfinder team-building retreats available at your location or ours, lasting from one to five days. Pathfinder facilitators have expertise with learners of all ages and abilities. They ensure the safest possible physical and emotional environment for learners to participate in activities and guided discussions that address identified goals. A variety of challenges are tailored to participants' skills, abilities, previous experience, cultural diversity, learning abilities, and organizational goals.
