The Story of Patrick James, Purveyor to Gentlemen began in 1962 in the city of Fresno, California. Patrick James began primarily as a private label store. Mon Pere used his own fashion savvy, as well as meticulous attention to quality and detail, which quickly established Patrick James as a "West Coast Classic" style. A business was then built by the heartfelt service and friendship that was bestowed upon each customer that walked through its doors. The secret of Patrick James lies in providing our customers with quality clothing and guiding them to establish a wardrobe uncompromised in its quality in both fabric and design. Patrick has now been joined by his sons: Mike, Patrick, Jr. and Clay. Together, they have built Patrick James, Inc. into a growing firm of fifteen upscale men's clothing and lifestyle stores spread throughout California, Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon. While the flavor and fashion of the merchandise may have changed in part, the hallmarks of quality and exemplary service are as present today as they were on that first day in 1962.
