Paul’s Custom Pet Food (PCPF) is a Connecticut-licensed pet food manufacturer that prepares fresh, made-to-order therapeutic diets, six varieties of veterinary nutritionist-developed complete and balanced food for healthy adult dogs, one fresh cat food topper, two bone broths, and five single-ingredient dehydrated treats. Since 2014, PCPF has been preparing fresh pet food by hand in small batches, overseeing every aspect of production. We do not use co-packers or third-party manufacturers. Recipes are prepared with ingredients sourced from local farms and businesses, and/or businesses committed to ethical practices. We use both novel and traditional proteins from animals that were humanely raised. Preparing fresh, made-to-order therapeutic diets is a keystone of what we do. All made-to-order therapeutic recipes originate with you, the veterinarian, and/or a veterinary nutritionist you partner with. We work closely with national board-certified veterinary nutritionists that we can recommend. Over the past eight years, PCPF has prepared whole-food recipes, recipes with premixed vitamins/supplements, and raw or gently cooked recipes – all based on veterinarian preferences. We work directly with veterinarians and their clients, putting both at ease knowing that a licensed, experienced manufacturer is making food according to specific instructions.
