From Job Fair to Game Changer: The Paxora Story: Paxora Consulting Inc. was founded by two immigrant women who met at a job fair in Calgary, both navigating the challenges of entering the Canadian workforce as newcomers. What started as a conversation about shared experiences quickly sparked a greater purpose—to bridge the gap in inclusive, culturally aware support for Black professionals, immigrants, and women entrepreneurs. Rather than wait for opportunities, we chose to create them for ourselves and for our community. Paxora was established as a consulting firm to provide strategic business services, career coaching, and community-centered empowerment programs. Since then, we’ve grown from a grassroots initiative into a trusted business development partner. Our expanding client base and impact reflect the need for services that meet people where they are. We’ve launched: 🔹 Youth Empowerment Programs 🔹 Ladies' Night Out: Women Supporting Women – a signature networking series for women entrepreneurs Our current focus is building a strong foundation across Alberta, deepening partnerships, enhancing programs, and delivering lasting impact within local communities. Looking ahead, our vision includes expanding into Toronto and Vancouver, where the need for inclusive, culturally grounded consulting support remains high. As we continue to grow, our goal is to bring Paxora’s empowering model to cities across Canada, amplifying voices, strengthening businesses, and transforming communities.
