PCC BakkiSilicon was established in 2018 and is one of the world’s most advanced and environmentally friendly silicon metal production plants. Silicon metal is used as an aluminum alloyant, it’s employed in the chemicals industry for the manufacture of siloxanes and silicones, among other things. At our factory in Húsavík, Iceland we employ around 150 people in various positions.
