Our vision: to provide every business student the opportunity to analyze businesses using the tools and methods that are in high demand in the workforce. Data literacy is understanding data. We are taught in school how to use certain tools to manipulate and analyze it, but data literacy goes much deeper. In a business context, where every decision can be highly profitable or extremely costly, the need for informed decisions is paramount. What better way to convince someone that your way is the right way than if it’s supported by numbers? We will use these numbers and data tools (Excel, SQL, etc) to analyze businesses to make informed decisions; hence, the “Business Analytics Club”.
