About Peace by Piece Foundation
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the state of Pennsylvania. HISTORY The benefits of extracurricular involvement for youth are extensive—especially for young people coming from disadvantaged backgrounds (Heath et al., 2022). Unfortunately, not all teenagers have access and the ability to participate in events outside of standard school hours. By fostering this sense of belonging amongst the group of young Peacemakers, we would be able to inspire them to take ownership of making improvements in their lives and their communities. MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to empower youth to bring about peace and positive change in their own lives and their surrounding communities, by providing them with the skills and resources necessary to do so successfully. VISION STATEMENT Our vision is to provide a unique experience that assures a successful future for every young Peacemaker who participates in the program, and to teach them to provide similar opportunities for others they interact with.
