About Peace Initiative Bhutan
Peace Initiative Bhutan is a youth-led non-governmental organization established to build positive peace and reconciliation in Bhutan based on mutual trust and understanding. This organization seeks to narrow the existing gap, increase people-to-people connections, and foster a relationship with the royal government of Bhutan. We place the highest priority on building positive relationships and mutual trust with Bhutanese in the diaspora and those in Bhutan. There can be no positive peace in the absence of one involved party. Therefore, PIB is currently invested in creating a respectful and conducive environment for achieving its short-term and long-term goals. This organization does not seek to defeat the government of Bhutan. We welcome the government of Bhutan to join us in sincere and honest dialogue to find win-win or mutually agreeable solutions that can transform our conflicting society into a cohesive and peaceful society through holistic peace building and a reconciliation process.
