Founded in 2012 by Dr. Laura Bush, our mission at Peacock Proud Press is to publish nonfiction books that transform the lives of our authors and their readers. We are changing the world with words. We are an independent book publisher, a hybrid between traditional and vanity book publishing. This means we are committed to the quality of the content and production of your book, including the design, marketing, launch, and distribution. We also know that self-publishing can be challenging because authors don’t automatically know the steps to publish and launch a professional quality book that sells. We do that work for authors, and they keep all the rights and royalties to their book. We believe in listening to our clients and exceeding their expectations, so they can feel “Peacock Proud” of their book. As an Independent Book Publisher, we evaluate an author's manuscript for any developmental and/or editing needs. Then the manuscript goes through a rigorous publishing process to become a professionally published print and e-book, ready for distribution worldwide.
