Pearl BlueStar is a division of Sanlam financial services founded in 2018. A financial institution that helps consumers through their financial journey by increasing and managing their wealth to save you time, effort & energy. In 2006, the Pearl BlueStar Principal Craig Williams stepped into the industry and ever since has given thousands of South Africans the financial freedom they deserve. Over the years, Craig became extremely fascinated by oysters & pearls and always wondered how to align the making of a pearl with his mission by putting their customers first, and offer as much value as possible, which would produce better long-term results. The main offering of financial institutions is giving clients the financial freedom they deserve. So, we’ve done what most other financial institutions have done: created tailor-made plans/solutions that aim to help and educate our clients. And in exchange for adding value to their lives, customers are likely to return the favor with their attention, trust, and action. But as much as we preach about putting the customer first, we sometimes fall short, but we are only human. Instead of offering the most value we possibly can, we asked ourselves the question, how do we differentiate the brand from other financial institutions? This is how the pearl was formed inside of the oyster. It took years of withstanding harsh weather conditions, the natural result of years of pain and frustration endured by the creature that created it the oyster. In it as itself, not a beautiful being, but capable of creating extraordinary things. Let’s get rid of the formalities. We want to practice what we preach, so we have aligned our mission with the oyster experience and have built our business on four pillars namely; Professionalism, Integrity, Transparency & Respect.
