For years, the Pediatric Dental Center of Frederick has been committed to educating parents and children of all ages (infants to adolescents) on the importance of good dental hygiene. Our doctors have completed post-graduate residency training, focusing on treating children with special needs and medically compromised children. In addition, our staff has a child-friendly approach to dental care; offering up-to-date dental treatment. We strive to treat each patient and parent as we would our own family members. Both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry state children should visit a pediatric dentist six months after their first tooth erupts or by their first birthday. Preventative care should start early to ensure children have a lifetime of oral health. Kids now can get their Kidd Smile Bucks card and earn points for appointments, referrals, playing games and contests. Points can be redeemed for gift cards to your favorite stores and restaurants.
