About Peer Support Network, University of St Andrews

We are the Peer Support Network, a one-to-one support service with the aim of supporting the St Andrews community. A subcommittee of the University of St Andrews Union, our main role is to run our support service where we match students with trained volunteers. These pairs then meet, chat, walk, drink coffee but most importantly, they work together to help the student who has requested our support. Our impact extends to the whole university community as we also provide training for committees, societies, staff and other groups on active listening and mental health support. Our goals are to destigmatise mental health and to bring about an environment in St Andrews where everyone can thrive, be happy and achieve the goals they have set for themselves! For all students, staff and groups at St Andrews - our doors are always open to support or collaborate with you.
