About Pelican Athletic Club
Pelican Athletic Club is a 70,000 square foot multipurpose health & fitness facility located on 15 acres on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain in Mandeville, Louisiana. PAC is the Club of Choice in the greater New Orleans area. The first time you walk into Pelican Athletic Club, you’ll notice that the atmosphere is different from other gyms and health clubs. It has the relaxed feel of a country club, but with a family atmosphere and all the fitness, sports equipment, and space you need for a top-notch workout. Our facility is considered one of the best on the Northshore for families, tennis, fitness, and aquatics. Other amenities include yoga and aerobics studios, gymnasium, free weights and machines, two heated 8-lane swimming pools and a splash pad (Our pools are open year-round!). We also offer a large variety of group fitness classes including aerobics, aquatics, cycling, and mind & body training. Unlike normal gyms, Pelican Athletic Club is also used as a gathering place. It’s the perfect spot to make new friends and to enjoy a post-workout drink or meal with them. Our fresh grill & bar, serving drinks and fresh food, is located just off the front lobby. Even the locker rooms encourage relaxation and socializing, equipped with private sauna, Jacuzzi, and towel service. Have small kids? No problem. We make it easy to meet up, work out and socialize with friends by offering child care services during your visit. Pelican Athletic Club has always been privately owned. This means personal attention, where the staff is likely to know you by name, unlike the large chains where you’re just a number.
