About Peninsula Gallery
Avid art collectors for more than 20 years, Robert King and Christine Brogden King have recently announced plans to open Peninsula Gallery, giving Northern Suburbs and Peninsula art lovers previously unparalleled access to an extensive collection of high quality contemporary works. A unique space in Terrey Hills, Peninsula Gallery will specialise in Australian and Dreamtime art, with an exceptional range of works from both emerging and established artists across the country. With a long-standing passion for art, and an overflowing stockroom to prove it, Mr King says: their “dream is to bring surprising, inspirational and unique art Australian art to the people of Northern Sydney and beyond.” According to Mr King, the gallery will have a monthly changing exhibition programme commencing from 27th July, with a mixed show featuring selected works by established artists including Garry Shead, Wendy Sharpe, Kerrie Lester, Peter Ferguson, Charles Blackman. As Peninsula Gallery has a large stockroom, the King’s intend to have mixed exhibitions over the first twelve months, to showcase the large variety of artwork they hold. Each month they will feature a “Focus Artist” and this will be advertised on their website and facebook page.
