About Penn-Mont Academy
Founded in 1961 by Gerald and Aline Wolf, Penn-Mont Academy is a non-profit, non-sectarian Montessori Community that nurtures the unique gifts in each child and educates the whole child by fostering independence, cooperation, service to others, self-esteem and a love of learning. Penn-Mont offers Toddler, Preschool and Elementary programs, as well as, before and after school care and a summer enrichment program. Penn-Mont is staffed by administrative professionals and teachers with full Montessori certification and Masters and/or Bachelor degrees. Penn-Mont is accredited by the American Montessori Society and the Middle State Association of Colleges and Schools, and is licensed by the Pennsylvania Departments of Education and Welfare.
