About Penn State Stuckeman School
The Stuckeman School is the largest academic unit in the College of Arts and Architecture at Penn State. The school houses academic programs in architecture, graphic design, and landscape architecture and is committed to preparing the designers of tomorrow to shape the world in which we live through thoughtful, collaborative, and forward-thinking design solutions that impact virtually every aspect of our lives. The Stuckeman School is a learning and research community devoted to design solutions for the physical, environmental, and cultural challenges of contemporary society. We value learning and working experiences that are inclusive and equitable in serving all people, regardless of gender, race, ability, sexuality, national origin, citizenship status, religion, or socioeconomic standing. The school is housed in the Stuckeman Family Building and the Borland Building on the University Park campus. The school is home to three research centers – Ecology Plus Design, Hamer Center for Community Design, Stuckeman Center for Design Computing – and numerous research labs. The Stuckeman School is not just a design school – it’s an incubator of ideas, a place to problem-solve, and a center of creative design at Penn State.
