About Penn Vet VBMA
The Veterinary Business Management Association is a student-driven organization dedicated to advancing the profession through increasing business knowledge, creating networking opportunities, and empowering students to achieve their personal and professional goals. The VBMA began in 2001 with three students at the University of Pennsylvania and became a national organization in 2004. The purpose in creating the National VBMA was to provide a support network among veterinary students with common interests and goals. The VBMA is largely based on the belief that in order to practice quality medicine, veterinarians need to possess complimentary skills to enhance their overall success and their clients' compliance.
