About Pennsylvania Rtc
The Pennsylvania RTC (PRTC) is a 501c3 program for Developmental and Senior Level wrestlers who desire to train in an environment that specializes in Olympic style wrestling with the ultimate goal of becoming World and Olympic Champions. All athletes must meet USA Wrestling RTC minimum qualification criteria. The PRTC is designed to ignite and fuel the Olympic Dream by providing a premier training environment, Olympic level coaches, and experienced training partners. In addition, a unique “Two Institution Division I partnership” between the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University, positions the PRTC with twice the number of college coaches, twice the number of college athletes and training partners, and increased resources that will be used to maximize the overall mission. The partnership with Drexel will also give PRTC members more professional and academic opportunities for graduate degrees in business, sports administration, and engineering. Being located in the major metropolitan city of Philadelphia, the PRTC boasts a host of professional cultural advantages that separate it from other RTC’s across the country. Simply, Philadelphia is consistently known as one of the best larger cities in the US with a wide variety of opportunities to garner success both on and off the mats. Our mission is to enrich lives locally and globally through the sport of Olympic wrestling. We do this by living out our core values of Faith Over Fear, Full Effort, Struggle Well, and Serve Others. Our Executive Director and Head Coach is Olympic Gold Medalist Brandon Slay.
