About Penser NA
Established in 1968 by Vern and Diane Parks, Penser North America was originally known as Penser International Ltd. The company was set up specifically to represent state funded employers on matters of workers' compensation. In the mid-seventies, Penser expanded its services to include unemployment cost containment, human resources, loss control and self-insurance. In January of 2003, Barrett Parks and Phil Valdens purchased the company from Vern and Diane. What followed with the new principals at the helm has been an extremely successful business. Penser is dedicated to only hiring the best in the industry who strive for excellence and continued improvement. After 40 years, what started as a new concept with modest beginnings has grown to a full-fledged force in the third-party administration and human resource areas. Penser has set the standard by which other Third Party Administrators now operate.
