Penta Machine Company is on a mission to advance 5-axis manufacturing by removing the barriers between design and production. We create innovative, approachable, and powerful CNC milling solutions that help startups, thinkers, and makers everywhere — from the lab and classroom to the home shop — bring their big ideas to life. Since our start in 2011, when husband and wife engineer team Matt and Michelle Hertel created the Pocket NC in a backyard shed, we’ve been dedicated to advancing the spirit of innovation — through our products, and for our customers. That means we’re always looking for ways to do things differently — to do things better. That means expanding our line of machines and moving the Pocket NC machines under a bigger brand umbrella. And, we are expanding our product lines with that same “see the need, create the solution” mindset, exploring better software, automation-ready capabilities, and enhanced ease of use in nearly any space. Our lineup is growing — from the original Pocket NC and user-friendly Kinetic Control software, look for more (and “bigger”) creations from us.
