About Pentacle
Pentacle (DanceWorks, Inc.) is a not-for-profit management support organization providing organizational and infrastructure services, programming and projects to small and mid-sized contemporary dance artists and companies. To fulfill its mission, Pentacle remains flexible to the ever-shifting needs of artists in the changing cultural and economic landscapes in which they work. For almost forty years, Pentacle has provided its services at subsidized fees and created innovative programs making it a trusted resource for the emerging and established dance companies at the heart of the professional dance community. In addition to our booking/representation, fiscal, design and consulting services, Pentacle has initiated projects and programs that have, over the last three-and-a-half decades, been fundamental to the international dance community’s evolution and growth. Our current projects include Help Desk®, Educational Programming, and Movement Media. As a not-for-profit organization, Pentacle has been the recipient of generous government foundation, and corporate support which has allowed us to provide quality services at subsidized fees and offer unique, innovative programs.
