Maintaining Your Pet’s Health If you are a part of the pet parent community representing over 162 million dogs and cats in US households, then you may be looking for answers to maintain your individual pet’s health. PepiPets provides the tools necessary to maintain your dog or cat’s health through expert knowledge based on your specific pet. PepiPets was formed in 2019 as an idea of five business partners who were looking to help pet parents in caring for their cats and dogs through education and providing other services to ease the burdens placed on pet parents. Launching in 2022, PepiPets will be the first to offer at-home diagnostic testing for dogs and cats. PepiPets, Inc. began as a graduate student group project where a solution for at-home care of companion animals was presented in an Entrepreneurship class. One member of the study group, being a veterinarian, had presented the pain points that are present in his industry for pet parents, and several solutions to address those pain points were proposed. In addition to the veterinarians in the group, diverse expertise existed among the group members in Finance, Tech, Logistics, Sales, and Marketing. Over the last two years, the seeds of the business idea were further developed — all addressing the needs of pet parents while seeking a supportive role in the veterinarian community in hopes of ultimately helping to ensure ease of access to maintain the health of these beloved pets, who become family members.
