Perdue Strategy Group is headed by Managing Director Bev Perdue. As the 73rd governor of North Carolina, and the state’s first female chief executive, Bev helped guide North Carolina’s economic transition from tobacco and textiles to technology and innovation. Since leaving public service, Bev has been working with business and education leaders on their critical issues. Just as she did in the executive and legislative branches of government, Bev will lead a team at Perdue Strategy that will bring innovative solutions to your most pressing challenges. Perdue Strategy brings a group of professionals with decades of experience, knowledge, expertise and leadership to assist your business, government or non-profits with issues related to management, policy development, policy implementation, stakeholder engagement, and partnership building and management. During her time in public service, Bev faced some of the most difficult challenges, including the worst national economic conditions since the Great Depression. She led the state through strategic and sustainable transformations that helped North Carolina maintain a Triple-A bond rating, recruited and closed deals that led to the creation of more than 100,000 jobs, and posted a record high school graduation rate that topped 80-percent for the first time. In addition, she led the development of a statewide education broadband network that is a national model for integrating technology into school systems. Now, at Perdue Strategy she leads a team of consultants that translate their leadership, experience and relationships into solution-based approaches to private sector, public sector and non-profit challenges.
