Welcome, we are Period Style Homes, founded by W.A. "Bud" Lawrence. As our name suggests our focus is on design in classical, traditional, vernacular and period style design. For over 50 years, we have led the industry by focusing our talents on land planning, residential design, town center and traditional neighborhood development design. Our designers study and capture historical styles, preserving their essence and character while combining some of the most creative layouts found in today’s marketplace. Winning numerous awards for French, Spanish, Creole, and many other period-style homes, our designers are known as some of the nation's top classical designers. Our work has been published in numerous design-related periodicals, has won several regional and national design competitions and is featured in several high-profile neo-traditional/new urbanism communities. It was Bud’s desire to share his knowledge and love of classical and traditional design that lead to the development our website PeriodStyleHomes.com where our predesigned house plans are available for purchase at an affordable price. In addition to being able to purchase house plans our website, we will soon offer a collection of style books, that will serve as an invaluable resource for anyone designing or building a period style home.
