Perky, LLC, The Clothing Innovation Company, launched with the anticipation of it's first product, The Perky Collar, a dress shirt collar support system. It was patent pending as of Jan. 16th, 2015. As a company, we welcome all feedback and ideas as to where additional clothing improvements are needed. Our first focus will be on dress shirts and the challenges people have with them. More great products will come soon. This product was developed to stop the droopy and saggy collars that many people experience after they wash and wear a dress shirt a few times. Collars take a lot of abuse in your closet, carry-on bags and suitcases. The Perky Collar is especially effective when wearing a blazer, sweater or jacket to keep a nice high collar look and stop the tucking under effect. It is intended to be used in addition to collar stays. Collar stays keep the collar from curling up. The Perky Collar provides support to the top button region of a dress shirt. This allows you to still look professional without the discomfort of having to wear a tie. My ultimate goal is to sell enough Perky Collars to provide a "proof of concept" then license it out.
