PERMA-GRIT TOOLS LTD manufacture tungsten carbide grit abrasive tools. Developed & designed by Ian Richardson a World Champion scale aircraft builder. Working with such a diverse range of materials, Ian realised that traditional tools were not effective, and had a tendency to chip, melt or tear materials. He found that tungsten carbide grit solved the problem, cutting the softest to some of the hardest of materials, quickly and cleanly, whilst giving far better results and an extended tool life. We supply the F1, Motorsport, Aircraft, Stone Masonry, Shop & Kitchen fitters, Aero Modellers, Prototype Design, DIY, Homebuild, D&T & Instrument maker and Restoration markets. We are based in Lincolnshire, and have exported and exhibited worldwide for over 25 years. We are a reactive rather than proactive company. We supply our customers with simple, yet effective tough tools, with great longevity, that will work the most difficult composite materials, as well as more traditional materials. Perma Grit tools will cut, sand and shape Carbon Fibre, Kevlar, Glass Fibre, GFK, Plastics, Perspex, Plexiglass, Lexan, PCB, Stone, Marble and softer materials for example Polystyrene, hard & soft Woods, Rubber and Plastics just as easily.
