About Perpich Center for Arts Education
Perpich Center for Arts Education is the dedicated state agency supporting arts education for Minnesota. Our mission is to provide all Minnesota students the opportunity to develop, enhance, and integrate their artistic and academic abilities to their highest potential. We do this by teaching in and through the arts. We teach in our arts high school for juniors and seniors. We also teach through our professional development and research activities. We support teaching art and arts integration through the extensive arts education material in our library. No other school like Perpich exists in Minnesota. We are a public, residential arts high school that is open to every junior and senior in the state. Visit http://bit.ly/PerpichAdmissions to learn more about our upcoming Information Sessions and our February 1 application deadline. Contact admissions@pcae.k12.mn.us for more info. The professional development and resources (PDR) division includes numerous programs, partnerships, grants, and opportunities for K-12 teachers in all of Minnesota’s school districts. The arts education library serves as the high school’s library as well as a free public library open to all with tens of thousands of arts education resources for teachers and teaching artists from around the state.
