Led the U.S. Sales and Marketing operations for two major pharmaceutical companies and, subsequently, created the complete commercial infrastructures for two emerging biotech/specialty pharm companies. As head of marketing/commercial, responsible for the launch of over a dozen products, four of which exceeded $1 billion/annual revenue. While CEO, gained first-hand, significant corporate finance and capital markets experience, having raised over $220 million in both debt and equity financings. Built leadership teams which included the recruitment of nearly a dozen C-suite executives. As board chairman, further developed board skills through increased knowledge and appreciation for disciplined corporate governance as well as board recruitment and development.
