About Personal Care Foundation

The Personal Care Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing survivors of domestic violence and others in need in Montgomery County, MD hygiene products they require to maintain good health and rebuild their lives with dignity. At the core of the Personal Care Foundation’s initiative is a commitment to improve physical and mental health of survivors of domestic violence and their children. We believe that keeping good hygiene habits will help individuals maintain good health, prevent the spread of illnesses, and improve self-esteem. We accomplish our mission by partnering with local organizations that assist our target population in other areas of need. Our services help survivors rebuild their lives, attend school on a regular basis and (re)gain employment. We positively impact our community as a whole, but most importantly we support survivor’s healing after such traumatic experiences.
