In addition to being partners in life as husband and wife Paul and Lola Duffy are passionate about their shared mission to assist others in working through the very difficult thoughts and feelings associated with grief and loss. Paul is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Lola is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist and Certified Positive Psychology Coach. All major life-transitions include some kind of loss and grief - even sought-after transitions like graduation from college include loss and related grief. Making the most of major life-transitions necessitates effectively processing through the associated losses to overcome the obstacles to successful transition that are generated by loss-related emotion and thought. Our cognitive-behavioral therapeutic counseling and coaching helps people experience healing and wellness as they seek and find new purpose following life's inevitable losses including death of a loved one, divorce and major career change. Beyond those listed above, we can also help with other transitions involving loss and grief, including: couples-conflict, underemployment, long-term disability related transitions, recovery from addictions, relocation-resettlement, unemployment or underemployment following college graduation.
