About Personalised Care Institute
The Personalised Care Institute (PCI) was established in 2020 to support the implementation of the NHS Long-Term plan. We support health and care professionals to empower patients with the knowledge, skills and confidence to feel more in control of their physical and mental health. We do this by; - Setting standards: we have created the first evidence-based personalised care curriculum for training health and care professionals in this vital area - Education: we inspire and educate health and care professionals through our expert-led flexible eLearning courses, resources and support - empowering them to deliver personalised care that takes into account what really matters to the patient - Accreditation: our robust quality-assurance and accreditation framework ensures training providers delivering personalised care courses meet the highest standards Evidence shows that personalised care improves health outcomes, patient satisfaction and quality of care and, through our network of more than 40 health associations, organisations and charities, we’re dedicated to training 75,000 health and care professionals by 2024, changing the face of health and care in England. We believe in patient-centric healthcare, and we aim to achieve this through collaboration, expertise and excellence.
