Employing highly qualified personnel, Petans provides courses & training from its locations in Norfolk & Suffolk (UK) delivering Offshore Survival, Firefighting, Helideck Operations, Marine, Maritime, Confined Space, Safe Working at Height & Safety Management training. For offshore Oil & Gas Petans offer internationally recognised courses to OPITO - https://opito.com/ standards, in survival training (BOSIET/FOET/HUET), safety courses (MIST, OSR) as well as emergency response courses such as firefighting (Team Member and Team Leader), helideck operations (Heli Ops, Heli Team Member and Leader Courses) and coxswain. For those working in the Renewables Sector Petans are accredited to deliver both the initial and refresher GWO Basic Safety Training. For those working in the maritime sector we are MCA approved to deliver the Basic Safety Course, including Proficiency in Security Awareness. We also offer the Advanced Maritime Firefighting course and the updated training. In addition we are able to deliver a number of add on courses such as S-cape, Norwegian Escape Chute, City & Guilds Confined Space (low, medium & high risk) We deliver bespoke courses to local authorities, MOD, industry and nuclear fire teams. We hire our facilities for the delivery of industry related training and regularly facilitate Dangerous Goods Courses on our Norwich site. The Training and Operations Manager is always happy to discuss training needs, contact can be made through info@petans.co.uk. As a registered charity, we reinvest in our facilities and offer two grants to qualifying delegates providing up to £300 off a price of a course, please see the grant section of our website for more details.
