Peter Cowsill Ltd is an independent consulting firm providing advice on Engineering Geological, Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental matters. In the 30yrs that we have been operating we have been involved in most aspects of Engineering Geology/Geotechnics including; shaft and tunnel design, reservoir and dam design/remediation, cliff and slope stability issues, mining and quarrying problems as well as road and rail projects. More recently we have also been involved in land reclamation projects which have revolved around collapse settlement issues. We also have a good deal of experience in providing legal services where there is a dispute between clients and contractors over development costs. We have acted as expert advisor and expert witness to resolve numerous claims. We have years of significant experience in advising contractors and clients on issues such as unforeseeable ground conditions, rock strength, groundwater ingress and so on.
