More than 6 million people suffer from mental health issues or lack capacity. It can happen suddenly, gradually or you could be born with it. Sadly some vulnerable people are abused by others or families feel that their loved ones are getting a raw deal from health or social services. Using a combination of laws such as the Mental Capacity Act, the Human Rights Act, the Mental Health Act and the Care Act we can help ensure that rights are respected and protected. We also represent clients detained under the Mental Health Act throughout the North West, North Wales, Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands. We also cover Hertfordshire and Greater London and we're able to respond immediately to emergency issues for patients detained under the Mental Health Act. We believe in what we do. As a result we have built an enviable reputation as a leading practice in this specialist area.
