In 1904, Peter Nappi emigrated from southern Italy to the United States, bringing with him a family tradition in shoemaking dating back more than a century. His attention to detail and dedication to both his craft and family inspired his American grandson to revive his legacy in 2009, officially establishing the Peter Nappi Brand and opening its flagship showroom and store in Nashville, Tennessee. Designed in Nashville and handmade in Italy, Peter Nappi premium leather footwear and goods are a distinctive blend of Italian heritage and American individualism. We believe truly authentic character and style are cultivated over a lifetime, and we design with that in mind: our pieces are meant to be both loved and lived in, wearing beautifully with time and age as they take on the signs of a life well travelled. Nestled alongside Nashville’s Cumberland River in a converted meatpacking warehouse sits our flagship store and showroom. The Studio houses the brand’s seasonal collections, and is home to a continually evolving stock of vintage European furnishings brought home from travels across the world. Distinguished as Peter Nappi Finds, the vintage pieces are available to the public and often shopped by area designers, architects, and builders. The Studio, a destination in and of itself, has become a must see for out of town guests, as well as a local fixture for Nashville’s musicians, celebrities, and creatives alike.
