About Peterson Brothers Automation

Peterson Brothers Automation provides education services to industrial companies and schools in the form of hands on training with real world equipment. Our Head Teacher and Curriculum Developer, David Peterson, has extensive experience developing and teaching the Mechatronics Program at Centralia College and wants to bring the same level of service and dedication to his students at Peterson Brothers. Our Lab Tech and Business Administrator, Jon, spent his years in the field working as technician in the field for Braun NW, Amazon Company, and Alta Forest Products. He filled a variety of roles from Analog Controls Manufacturing Electrician, to Industrial Mechanical Technician, to Automation Building Lead, and finally to his current role as an Automation Engineer for Alta Forest Products. He brings a perspective on Industrial Mechatronics Training based off time spent in the trenches, diagnosing problems and conducting repairs with teams of accomplished technicians. Together, we want to teach Technicians in the industry the skills they need to prevent downtime, better themselves, and be able to do a variety of jobs critical to the expanding role of mechatronics in the workplace. Our other primary goal is to train the teachers of college and highschool mechatronics and robotics programs how to effectively teach students and instill a sense of passion and fun that will carry them to fantastic careers.
