About Peterston Tea

Producing 100% Single Estate Welsh Tea We are really proud to be the first commercial tea farm in Wales, UK - we are growing and processing all of our tea in the Vale of Glamorgan. Around half of our (Camellia sinensis) tea plants are growing under polytunnel protection, the rest are being grown as part of an agroforestry project - we are using trees and shrubs to protect the tea plants from the worst of the Welsh weather! We have been growing tea on our farm since 2015 and had our first crop available for sale in 2019 from our own website - we will be expanding sales of our tea into selected independent retailers once it is available in 2020.
