About Petros Farms
Petros Farms is a beacon of hope for our community. Born amidst the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is a shining example of what can be achieved through determination, perseverance, sacrifice and a commitment to making a difference. Our roots are firmly planted in the Egbelu Nguru Community of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria; where our wholly-owned Indigenous Agro-Allied company is creating ripples of change. Our mission is not just about supplying businesses with table eggs for their operations, but about transforming lives, families, and communities. This mission began when after graduation, our co-founder, Justine Echebiri found himself struggling to secure employment. But it wasn't until he visited a friend at an egg depot that the idea of Petros Farms was born. Bringing Petros Farms from an idea to fruition by convincing his brother who is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist to fully fund this multimillion-dollar project is a story for the ages. The story of an obstetrician and gynecologist instead of starting his own practice in the USA, traded in his stethoscope and scalpel for a rooster call; using his lifesavings to create jobs in Nigeria by starting a Commercial Poultry Egg Producing Company. We stand as a testament to the power of the human spirit, and Petros Farms is dedicated to being a constant, consistent, and reliable source of hope and employment for those around us.
