About PGA REACH Central New York

PGA Reach Central New York, formerly known as the Central New York PGA Foundation, Inc. (CNY PGA Foundation), is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and the philanthropic arm of the Central New York PGA Section. In summer of 2022, the PGA Reach CNY Board of Governors approved a new set of by-laws and authorized staff to enter into a licensing agreement with PGA Reach, the philanthropic arm of the PGA of America, and file a Certificate of Assumed Name with New York State to do business as PGA Reach Central New York. Collectively these board authorized changes: (1) align the mission of PGA Reach Central New York with PGA Reach’s mission to positively impact the lives of youth, military, and diverse populations by enabling access to PGA Professionals, PGA Sections and the game of golf through the three PGA Reach philanthropic pillars – Youth Programs (PGA Jr. League/Drive, Chip and Putt), Military/Veterans (PGA Hope) and Diversity/Inclusion (PGA Works); and (2) leverage the PGA Reach national marketing campaign highlighting PGA Jr. League/DCP, PGA HOPE and PGA Works. Our CNY PGA membership, with more than 200 PGA Member Professionals and associates in Upstate New York, is committed to serving our communities and working to promote the game. By supporting PGA Reach CNY programs and initiative, we will accomplish our goals of growing the game and breaking down the barriers that hinder participation, both in the game and business of golf.
