About Phantasmagoria

Phantasmagoria is an Arts Hub with a difference Greenfield, Oldham. We're an immersive arts space where people can be creative in a magical unique environment and create high quality arts and crafts. We believe if you create an amazing inspiring environment for people to be part of it will inspire creativity and increase their sense of self worth. We aim to build skills and confidence by working with people on collaborative high quality art works to feel better about themselves and embark on new life projects like employment, volunteering and education. We believe in the power of imagination and our Magical Mission is Confidence Through Creativity. Everything in Phantasmagoria has a story and invites visitors to become part of our magical narrative. Using the arts Phantasmagoria provides an evidence-based approach to tackling social isolation, poor mental health and low confidence by providing meaningful and purposeful occupation-centered activities which promote occupational identity, occupational competence and performance; contributing to good health and wellbeing in an inspiring non clinical environment. We reach people through social prescribing from network partners including Action Together (our local VCSO), the NHS, Tameside MBC, Children’s Services, Housing Associations, Community Associations and other arts organisations.
