Pharma GenLabs (PGL) is a CLIA certified pharmacogenomics (PGx) laboratory that has been in operation since 2021. Our focus is pharmacogenetic testing, analyzing how a patient’s unique genetic profile impacts their response to medications. This gives providers the information they need to make informed prescribing decisions that improve outcomes, reduce adverse drug events, and lower healthcare costs. We are one of only 10 laboratories in the country with the MolDx Z - Code 81418 from Palmetto GBA, which allows for streamlined Medicare reimbursement in 28 states. Our testing panels cover the key genetic pathways that affect the metabolism of 90 percent of commonly prescribed medications including psychiatric, cardiovascular, pain management, and geriatric therapies. PGL is actively working with more than 40 healthcare facilities across the United States, with a strong presence in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long term care markets where medication optimization has the greatest impact. We are approved for Medicaid in nine states and connected with more than 40 insurance networks with plans for national payer expansion. Our platforms are designed for both patients and providers, integrating HIPAA compliant portals, proprietary analytics, and multi channel ordering through pharmagenlabs.com and retail partners. PGx University offers education for healthcare professionals and the public to spread awareness about the benefits of genetic guided prescribing.
