About Phases Academy

Phases Academy is an education platform dedicated to helping international students navigate key transition periods in their academic journey. We specialize in supporting students who are moving from local or bilingual schools into international curricula such as the International Baccalaureate (IB), A-Levels, or AP. With over 7 years of teaching experience across Singapore and China, our founder, Nichole Tay, brings a unique multicultural perspective as a Singaporean who grew up in Beijing. Having studied in international, bilingual, and Singapore’s Integrated Programme (IP) schools, Nichole understands first-hand the academic, cultural, and emotional challenges students face when adapting to new environments. At Phases Academy, we go beyond traditional academics. Our programs combine subject-specific tutoring with guidance on personal development, career planning, and extracurricular engagement. We also organize IB CAS activities, workshops, and networking opportunities, connecting students with professionals across industries to broaden their perspectives. Our mission is simple: to equip students with the skills, confidence, and cultural awareness they need to thrive—not just in school, but in life.
