Welcome to the Philmytummy Food Blog! We are local Philadelphia foodies, eating our way through the best of the 215 (and occasionally other locals). There isn’t anything we won’t try (duck hearts or crickets anyone?), and we’re always looking for new places to explore. The purpose of our blog is to showcase all the wonderful places in the Philadelphia restaurant scene and the people who work hard everyday to keep them running. We are very lucky to get to sometimes meet the owners and chefs of the restaurants to learn about their experiences and how they got to where they are today. We explore how these restaurants have grown, share their new menu items, changes in location, and other various facts we find interesting. Some of the restaurants mentioned on our blog have offered us complimentary meals while other restaurants we’ve gone to on our own. Our opinions are our own and therefore unbiased, we reserve the right to make the final decision in which restaurants to feature on this site. We also don’t hold ourselves out to be food critics, but simply lovers of good food! We truly enjoy to exploring new places, meeting new people, and trying new food. We are always looking for recommendations and new friends, so please get in touch!
