About Philosophy Documentation Center
The Philosophy Documentation Center is a specialized publisher that has been serving scholars on a non-profit basis since 1966. It has earned a reputation for excellence with the publication of journals, book series, conference proceedings, reference works, and other materials in philosophy, applied ethics, religious studies and related fields. PDC has a unique commitment to the philosophical community. We have been publishing information on philosophical activity for over forty years. We support essential projects such as PhilPapers, the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, and TeachPhilosophy101. We also support the International Federation of Philosophical Societies with a variety of services, and co-sponsor the annual Prize for Excellence and Innovation in Philosophy Programs with the American Philosophical Association.
