Phoenix is one of Australia’s largest English Language institutions, and the largest specialist centre in Perth (both in the public and private sector). From its inception in 1989 Phoenix Academy has successfully managed the enrolment, admission, accommodation, orientation, training and on-going pastoral care for over 20,000 students. Clients are drawn from over 40 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America making Phoenix one of Australia’s most ethnically diverse language centres. Quality and Customer care has always been at the heart of Phoenix’s business strategy, allowing the company to prosper in a very competitive international education market. The motto “We Care” was adopted in 1989 and remains a guiding philosophy today, differentiating Phoenix from most of its competitors. Phoenix specialises in a diverse range of education training and education services including; teaching intensive general and academic English (ELICOS) to over 2,000 international students every year, the provision of a pre-university/Foundation Studies program to over 300 international and Australian students each year, English support programs for university students, and English as a Second Language Teacher Training courses to Australian and foreign teachers. In addition Phoenix offers corporate training programs both offshore and in Australia.
